Certified Nursery Professionals-NCNLP

The Nebraska Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional program was established to promote the professionalism of individuals within our industry. A rigorous three-part test, which covers plant identification, landscape design, and the NCNLP manual, must be successfully completed. A minimum grade of 75% will be required to successfully complete each section of the test. NCNLP testing takes place twice a year.

To retain the NCNLP status, five (5) hours of continuing education must be completed every year. Renewal notices are sent out in the fall. Continuing education includes attendance at the NNLA Winter Conference, Summer Field Day, workshops, or other industry events.

Testing and Study Material

The Nebraska Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional (NCNLP) exam is offered twice each year. Registration for the exam is available online—click HERE to register or visit the Events/Calendar tab on our website.

The NNLA Testing Committee strongly encourages candidates to prepare in advance. Study materials are available electronically with registration and are included in your testing fee. Email Renae @ renae@youraam.com to request study materials.
