President’s Message - Winter 2022

Hello friends,

I hope this finds you wrapping up a successful season with a bit of time to enjoy the holidays. If you are like me you are hoping for rain, unless of course you are in the snow removal business! Either way we could sure use some moisture to wrap up a good season and get ready for another good one next year.

Thanks to those who attended the summer field day at Henry Doorly Zoo. Terri and her staff were very gracious hosts, the weather cooperated, and it was sure a lot of fun. The board is already discussing when we can do it again and the committee is already working on 2023 Summer Field Day.

With that in mind, I am pleased that our NNLA Winter Conference is right around the corner. Please join us again at Innovation Campus in Lincoln on January 26th and 27th. It was fun to see everyone last year and I am looking forward to seeing everyone again. We have a wonderful assortment of speakers and topics so I hope you can make time to come network with us.

Please keep sending us your ideas and filling out the surveys. The board is absolutely paying attention and taking all comments under consideration, we appreciate any input. We could also use your help on committees so feel free to talk to any of the board members when you see them if you are interested.
