2024 FFA Convention

The 96th Nebraska FFA Convention drew over 8,000 members, advisors, and guests to Lincoln on April 3-5. There was a flurry of career and leadership development events, proficiency finalist interviews, leadership workshops and general sessions packed with inspirational speakers and recognition. Plus, a career fair and expo were held with 110+ industry partners, colleges, and agriculture organizations. NNLA hosted a booth at the expo to talk with attendees about the horticulture industry and the NNLA scholarship opportunity. The NNLA continues to reach out to the next generation and encourage them to consider a career in the diverse horticulture field. The Association sponsors the Nursery Operations Proficiency Award and the Landscape Management Proficiency Award during the FFA convention. The 2024 Landscape Management proficiency award was presented to Blake Nun of Fillmore Central by Brett Schroer. The 2024 Nursery Operations proficiency award was presented to Addison Karo of West Holt by Lee Olson.
